A Live-In Caregiver is an HHA, CNA or PCA
who works in 24 hour shifts in the home. Typically, we assign
two people to a Live-In Case, one who works for 4-5 days, and
a second person who works for the remaining 2-3 days.
There are only a few qualifiers for this type of care:
The care be appropriate - a client who needs assistance
throughout the night would cause an employee to burnout
The employee needs a place to sleep
We need to have Live-In staff available.
The ideal candidate is someone who lives alone, has an extra room
and wants companionship as well as personal care services.
